The nearest airport transfer to Livigno (Italy) is Milan / Milano at a distance of 220km or approximately 300 minutes driving time. Livigno ski season runs from November to May.

One of the largest and highest ski areas in the region, actually based on three original villages spread out along three miles of road. Excellent intermediate skiing, and very close to St Moritz, also famous for being duty free, due to its historical remoteness. There are over 200 shops, mostly selling alcohol, cigarettes and perfume.

Off the slopes in Livigno the emphasis is on the bars and restaurants, but there is a cinema (English language films shown weekly) and a bowling centre. There's also an outdoor ice rink with curling and the opportunity to try parascending, snowmobiling or winter riding. A wide range of excursions are possible and popular - particularly the trip over to St Moritz.
A full program of events is organised throughout the season including ice sculpture displays and classical music concerts. Night skiing is offered every Thursday from 8.30 - 10.30pm after Christmas, and on Thursday afternoons there are village guest slalom and snowboarding races.
