Over 75 snow cannons ensure artificial Himos snow making covers 10km of ski trails, which equates to around 100 of the ski slopes. Himos is one of the world's newest ski centres, established in 1984. It offers one of the best mix of trails in Finland, with virtually all the lifts offering a choice of easy to difficult descents of up to 950m length. Snowboarding is also excellent and there's 100% snow making. The ski season is also quite long, starting in November and running until the first of May.
