Courmayeur has a library, Alpine museum, ice rink and multi-sports centre. The latter is the Palasport with indoor tennis (tuition available), squash, five-a-side football, volleyball, basketball, indoor golf and an impressive indoor climbing wall. Ice centre offering skating and disco with psychedelic lighting in the evening for all ages. Parascending and helicopter trips are also available.
Excursions can be arranged to the historic market town of Aosta, or to Chamonix either through the Great St Bernard Tunnel or over the mountain by cable-car.
