Chamonix Snowboard School

Chamonix Snowboard School’s the first snowboard-only school in the valley. We offer beginner and improver lessons for levels 1 to 5. Our instructors are certified as well as being official UIAGM mountain guides. We teach with an understanding of biomechanics, physics and the mechanics of snowboarding. Morning and afternoon half day lessons are available, or you can book full day 6 hour lessons.

Off Piste Performance Ltd provides ski instruction from Alison Culshaw (ISTD) and ski guiding by James Thacker (IFMGA Mountain Guide). Mark Seaton

Mark Seaton is an internationally qualified mountain guide and member of the French and English mountain guide associations. He’s lived in the Chamonix Valley for over 20 years and two remarkable accomplishments include the 2nd British guided ascent of the Eiger Nordwand with his client Charles Sherwood and leading the 1st blind man, Don Planner, to climb Mont Blanc.

Guided expeditions with Mark include off piste skiing, heli skiing and ski touring – safety equipment can be provided as well as the training for how to use it. Whether you are venturing off piste for the first time or taking on the legendary Haute Route, Mark will plan your experience to match your ability.
