Canazei Ski Holiday Facts
Established in ? the Italian ski resort Canazei lies at 1450 metres altitude in the Trentino region of the Italian Dolomites \ Dolomiti. With the highest lifts and ski slopes at 2425m Canazei ski area is not snow sure. Over 200 snow cannons ensure artificial Canazei snow making covers 37km of ski trails, which equates to around 100 of the ski slopes. The nearest airport transfer to Canazei (Italy) is Innsbruck at a distance of 140km or approximately 130 minutes driving time. Canazei ski season runs from November to April.

There's a good choice of activities available on and off the slopes. You can try snow shoe walk, a horse-drawn sleigh ride, snow tubing, ice climbing (including the novelty of night ice climbing) or paragliding above (Val di Fassa is the birthplace of world champion Jimmy Pacher).
Canazei has an indoor swimming pool and Eghes, a Wellness Centre with Calidarium, Laconicum, Tepidarium, Aromarium, Frigidarium, Thalasso, Camomile Cave, Finnish Sauna and massages.
Canazei alo has squash courts. There are fitness centres in Moena and Campitello; bowling in Alba; and the "Gianmario Scola" indoor ice stadium at Alba. There is the museum of Ladin culture in Pozza di Fassa
