Established in 1963 the Canadian ski resort Big White lies at 1755 metres altitude in the British Columbia region of the Canadian Monashees. Most of Big White's non ski or snowboarding facilities are still outdoors. The major fixed asset is the central 7500 square foot family skating rink in the heart of the Village Centre, between the Village Centre Mall and the White Crystal Inn. This is open daily (weather permitting) and skates can be rented from the Rental Shop in the Village Centre Mall. You can also choose to relax in a hot tub, have a massage or enjoy a beauty treatment and sleigh rides are also available.
The Adventure Park in Happy Valley includes mega Snow Coaster tube rides, mini z's snowmobile tours and skating.
Snowmobilers have more than 100 km (63 miles) of wilderness trails and logging roads. Everything needed is supplied including clothing helmet, boots, and a snack with moonlit tours and custom packages available on occasion.
