Many of the facilities in Bad Hofgastein are located within the vast array of hotels - for example there are no less than 19 hotel pools.
However a visit to the stunning Alpen Therme Gastein is not to be missed. With six different adventure and health worlds, a glass sky bar with an exclusive 360° Alpine panorama view, multimedia adventure dome, colossal water slides, geysers, a sauna world with its own mountain lake and unique architecture, this is a very special and unique attraction.
Divided in to six theme worlds there is something for everyone, ranging from relaxation, wellness or just pure bathing fun. Relax World is the first class relaxation spa; Family World is the adventure spa for both young and old; Sauna World is marketed as "the hottest village in the Alps," whilst Ladies World is "the saunarium, where relaxation is ladies business only." Sports World is the sports centre whilst Gusto World has "thermal restaurants."
There are also plenty of specialised Health and Cure Centres throughout the Gastein area. The main point of each cure is the person, both in body and spirit.
