Douglas Fir Resort in Banff, Canada
A great family option because of its range of well priced self catering condos and the kids have plenty to do from the incredibly impressive playzone – which goes up two floors – for young kids to the waterslides and swimming pools. While the kids are enjoying themselves most of the condos have living areas where you can relax and there is a good restaurant and bar nearby that you could always pop too. There is a store onsite selling the basics for a good breakfast and more besides, and an off-licence. Sitting above Banff town you can walk into town but most will opt to jump on the shuttle bus or take a cab.
