Chalet Tison (sleeps 8) - 1450m. Chalet Tison is an absolute gem and was lovingly renovated in the summer of 2010 by its local French owner.
Situated in the heart of the old village of Musillon, it has superb space set out over three floors. On the top floor, there is a wonderful open planing living/dining room with a wood-burner which has been carefully thought out, finished and furnished to the highest of standards. All bedrooms have their own lovely modern bath/shower rooms. The clever combination of traditional Alpine surroundings and a contemporary feel is absolutely ideal for those looking for comfort and style whilst enjoying the ambiance this Alpine property has to offer.
Chalet Tison is situated about an 8-10 minutes walk from Meribel's main square where you will find the many bars, restaurants and shops that the village has become renowned for as well as the straight-foward blue piste leading to Chaudanne, the main ski hub for accessing the full Three Valleys area. Closer still are the popular apres-ski spots of Dicks T-Bar and the slightly more sedate Den Bar. The free local bus also stops nearby.
Chalet Tison is run by one of our specially selected chalet hosts who lives out nearby.
Did You Know: The name Tison is derived from the old French word meaning "fire-brand" which has been used to refer to a person who is fiesty or hot-tempered. Chalet Tison might be strong and fiesty but its certainly not hot-tempered..!

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.
