If we don’t have any apartment holidays below, check whether the famous Trickle Creek Lodge is still offering self-catering packages in its lovely condos. The bonus of these is that you’ll have your own space complete with a kitchen area, as well as being able to use the hotel’s fabulous facilities. Last time we checked, the lodge also had its own mini market, making buying food a breeze.
If you’re after an apartment as a base for exploring the local eateries, the Slopeside Coffee & Deli is a good spot for lunch while Montana’s Cookhouse and the Stemwinder do excellent suppers. You’ll also find more in downtown Kimberley – the Peak to Platzl shuttle connects the ski hill base with the groceries and restaurants downtown.
