Torbole’s breezy weather is fantastic for keeping keeping on an action packed holiday in September and the town also has a splendidly laid back vibe, creating a destination with a real holiday atmosphere.

While the weather is mostly sunny, Torbole does see a few rainy days in September but rainy spells are usually short and provide the perfect excuse to visit the town’s shops, cafes, museums, churches and historical buildings. If you’re in Torbole on a warm day in September, spend some time watching the windsurfers from the Lido Blu beach.

September’s cooler weather is great for active holidays and we think Torbole is one of the best for resorts for a “sporty” lake holiday. There are all sorts of activities on the lake including windsurfing, kite surfing and sailing, the cycling and hiking opportunities are fantastic and to top it off there’s a great adventure park nearby. For a visually stunning walk or bike ride, go up to Belvedere where there’s a great view over the lake.

September holidays in Torbole are great so, if you’re planning to be super active and are not restricted by school term dates, this is the month to come. For somewhere that feels warmer in September, try one of Lake Garda’s southern resorts such as Peschiera or Sirmione or visit nearby Riva del Garda for a little Italian style and culture.
